Hi Sean,

I skipped entering any WINS address information. The network that the Fax Centre was add to is a mix of Windows (all PCs are running Vista or Windows 7) and Macs and as a result did not require WINS to be configured. I also have to admit that I am not overly familiar with configuring WINS. I'd expect you'd need to have a primary and secondary WINS server running for clients (in this case the Faxcentre) to connect to and give themselves a name/ID on your WINS based network.

If you're on Windows 7 and there's nothing on your network that's running an OS older than Windows 2000 then I don't think you'll need to worry about setting up WINS.

What did you use as your WINS addresses (or more importantly, how do I determine what I should use)? I'm working on a laptop running windows 7 and I really need to be able send docs to e-mail... a pretty basic function, but I can't seem to get it to work.

Any help would be appreciated... you can call me if you prefer.

I have had to set one of these up for fax-forward to e-mail, what a nightmare. I know exactly what you've had to deal with.
