The groundwork for Resurva was born from a problem we had to solve for a client. This student organization had 8 rooms with varying service options that were rented out to student and faculty organizations. Because of the amount of admin time it took to manage the rentals, the operation wasn't economical for the organization.
With a long list of problems, we took to the drawing board and began the process of developing a web app that would facilitate room booking in an elegant manner and simultaneously reduce the admin time normally associated with managing the rooms.
The problem we solved wasn't unique. A few months after launching this service, a local barbershop named Crows Nest Barbershop, known for their clean cuts but long wait times, became the first client for what we would turn into Resurva. After making the jump to our service it wasn't long before the phone stopped ringing and Crows Nest's clients had piece of mind knowing their time slot was reserved just for them.
Resurva's role in the client/admin relationship is clear: replace the phone calls, texts and emails that service providers contend with daily so they can ensure an uninterrupted service experience for each client.
Our view that the only differentiator for service based businesses is how well service is executed. If you're focused, and have the time to practice, a business can spend the time building a consistent story and honour the obligation for exceptional service with each client.
